Ok, so i`m staying over this problem for liek w 2 days and can`t manage to solve it. I`m making Polish site so we have this funny żźłśćąę etc. and there is problem with coding. Basic info:
database - utf8_general_ci
site config - Polish-utf8 and utf-8 unicode for coding
however system info says for databae it`s:
latin1 and latin1_swedish_ci
I tried adding mysql set names for utf8 to dbi and index after connection request and header info for utf8 for php files but it didn`t work for me. Couldn`t find any other proposition to solve such problem. I think it`s not only Polish language so maybe some1 found easy salvation and would like to share ?
Info: PHP5.2.9-2 / Mysql5.1.33 / Apache 2.2.11 / Modx 1.0.2 ( rev 6066) everuthing set on localhost with wamp server.
EDIT:
Problem got solved with newer download and changing sets of databes to chars not names (earlier database was making as read i need names - it was previous installation)
