Posting to an old thread i got the message that i should better start a new thread because there’s more than 45 days that nobody has wrote on it... also, it is marked as "resolved", so there’s my new thread with an unresolved problem.

I use modx (upgrading) since 0.9.6.x (if im not wrong with the number), im now at 1.0.2, and the problem stills there, there’s a dump "core" file on the root dir of modx filling up space, If you want more details just follow the other thread because it is EXACTLY the same problem, i have also the same error messages and in the modx_event_log table too

    That is

      Could you answer these questions:
      Web Server:
PHP version and how it’s running (suexec, mod_php, CGI, etc.)
      Apache or IIS version
      Operating System and version

      Database:
      MySQL version
List of any tables over 1MB in size

      MODx:
      Any changes you’ve made
Any snippets you’re running on the page that is not working properly
      Any plugins you’re running

      Thanks

        By other side:
        > The dumps are from 0kb to 175MB, it happens in the root directory of the site. After testing i got to know that it happens when we login to the manager. (It might be happening in other random situations too but it happened thrice after logging into manager)

I try this but I can’t reproduce this problem by login on the manager, the file is not created, i just see from time to time this file and delete it, but aparently i can’t make it appear by login on the manager, i have actually moved it so let’s see when will appears again, I will do a new post if i see this file again
