I see the problem posted, but solution didn’t help. I’m trying to install and get to the point to enter my database info: for Database host: localhost, Database login name: my database username (or do I use the database’s name that I created for the site or will modx create its own?), and my Database password: password. The link under the form fields, "Test database server connection and view collations", does nothing. I then get the popup "You need to test your server connection". I press okay then nothing. I’ve created databases w/these type programs before and never ran into this problem. I’m about to delete Modx and go w/another CMS (really don’t want to do that); I thought I’d try here first for a solution. Thanks in advance for any help offered. Glen
