Maybe you can find help in the Wayfinder section.
I wonder, is it possible to stop this SET NAMES and SET CHARACTER_SET funktion after the list snippet has run? Would it then affect the menu?
I think it’s so strange that everything i put into the manager works, but this particular list doesn’t work without the SET NAMES function. Wouldn’t that mean that it’s just the encoding for just the lists database table and the snippet that is wrong???
Be patient with my non-programming language. I hope you understand what I mean anyway...
Encoding - It’s either changing the encoding of the CSV before importing
or maybe try this in the end of the snippet (replace: return $output;)
return mb_convert_encoding($output, $modx->config['modx_charset'], 'auto');

But first try with only this one:
mysql_query("SET CHARACTER SET utf8");

I also suspect that the table
fields are in another collation, changing the table
is not enough.
