I’m running Evolution 1.0.1 on a Linux dedicated (virtual) box at Media Temple using Plesk 8.6 but for the life of me can’t get the friendly urls working.
My .htaccess files seem to be working from what I can tell because when I throw some garbage code in them, they error out. I’m using the default ht.access files included with MODx and have renamed them to .htaccess as directed. I also followed the guidance I found on the MODx wiki with regards to making necessary adjustments to accommodate the fact that my MODx install site is living in a subdirectory.
I’ve got a .htaccess file in the root of the site and in the root folder of the MODx install just to be safe.
All the MODx settings for friendly URLs are set but I just keep getting 404 errors...which I thought MODx was supposed to intercept anyways.
Any thoughts?
Your htaccess file is not configured properly?
Is MOD Rewrite setup on your server.
