    Hi,
On my website I have upgraded from the standard WebLogin (v 1.1) that comes with Modx to WebLoginPE (v 1.2.0), and placed these in a 200px sidebar.

As far as I can tell, it fits fine in most pages (the login and logout sections). However some of the features (such as register, view user profile) aren’t designed to fit in the small sidebar (200px).

What is the code and where do I need to edit this code to make it display in such a manner? (I’m that experienced with code, so the smaller the better).

Currently in modx my call for the snippet is:
      [!WebLoginPE?!]

If possible I would love it if there is a "&..." to adjust the width as it does not require me to do much code editing.

Otherwise, if absolutely required, I will need to link to pages that contain such material. I’ll only look at this option if the above option cannot be resolved. So what code would I put there, and how would I link to such pages (in as much detail please).

If you would like to see a working model of what I mean:

    User: test
    Pass: testpassword

You’ll never fit it all in the sidebar.
There are quite a few form fields including textareas which are just too big.
It really needs to be in the main content.
The default templates are all in a file named webloginpe.templates.php, if you have a look at them you’ll see what I mean.

        Thanks bunk58.
So If I am forced to put the login, etc into the main content area, is the following possible?

        1. Keep a login section in the sidebar (just input of user name, password, submit and "forgot password")? Basically, in this sense the user is allowed to login without browsing away from the current page.

        2. A section (i.e. what code do I need), to show that the user is not logged in (preferably provide the login option for above, if not then provide a link to the login page) and show the "welcome username" blurb if the user is logged in.

        Thanks
        Kathleen

I’ve added the [!WebLoginPe?!] call to a normal content page. It allows login and logout fine. However I have noticed that when the user browses to the profile page, and clicks the save button (having added content), it is not actually added to the database. How can I fix this?

I notice in your first post you mention you are using version 1.2.0, the most current version (1.3.1) which I am pretty sure fixed that issue (and a few others) is available here:

Breezer, thanks for that catch. I updated the files that I am using, however still have the issue that the content entered into the profile section isn’t being added to the database.
              Any suggestions?

Maybe this post could be the issue:

If not, perhaps one of the posts in the webloginPE specific forum might shine some light:
