I need to redirect a page once a link is clicked yet collect stats for that link. I know that may not make sense so let me try to break it down some.
1. I have a link on my main page that once clicked sends users to another site.
2. I want to have this link sent to a page titled LinkOne or something like that. This page is an internal page on my site. Once on that page I need them to be redirected to the extenal site.
3. On my internal page I would like to include Google Analytics code so that I may track the traffic from that particular link to the external site.
I hope that makes sense. I’m curious is there a better way to do this and is it even possible?
