Getting rid of "modx-1.0.0" in the web address

Hi, I’m sorry if this has been answered before...

I’ve installed MODx on the server and it works fine so far. But the address reads:

http://www.codd.info/modx-1.0.0/index.php?id=1

How do i get rid of the "modx-1.0.0" from the web address? Is this done on Cpanel?

It seem to be because you installed MODx i a folder called modx-1.0.0 . Is you want to get away the modx-1.0.0 from the url, you should install MODx i your root catalog.

Or you can turn on friendly urls in the manager settings.
