I’ve created a TV which is an Image type and contains the path to a pareticular image.

I’m trying to add it into a Ditto call so that that call uses that TV for the image displayed, in place of the larger version which is being automatically pulled from its background article.

Anyone know how this can be done?

      Haven’t tried this ... but:
Ditto’s parameters [tt]&removeChunk[/tt] and [tt]&hiddenFields[/tt] may help you to remove the large picture code and to embed the TV with the smaller one.
      See: http://www.pogwatch.com/ditto/ditto-parameters.html

Alternatively from filtering out the image code, you can simply add an extra css rule to your ditto page that sets the orignal picture to [tt]display: none;[/tt].

        Hi there,

i think TVimageResizer is exactly build for that scenario: http://modxcms.com/extras/package/566
        alternatively phpThumb with PHX: http://modxcms.com/extras/package/341

Problem is that the smaller versions of the large image, when I edit the called content with CSS (e.g changing dimensions) look stretched and so we need to load a separate smaller image (completely different file) if possible.

I looked at &removeChunk but unfortunately the large images are set in the content (so they can be easily edited by CM’s) and therefore aren’t set into chunks...

Any idea how I would embed the TV into the ditto call? Is there an &image or similar attribute that can be used inside the call?
