    Hi modxler

    I have the following problem, here is an example:
    I have a folder (in modx) that has many records, e.f. cars.
    Let’s call that folder [cars]. The structure of that folder might look like this (folder with pages):
    [cars]
    - {big red car1}
    - {big green car2}
    - {small red car1}
    - {small blue car1}

    In modx, I have setup a structure for the navigation:
    [big cars]
    [small cars]
    [red cars]
    [green cars]
    [blue cars]

    I want to manage/edit each car only once (they should appear in more than one navigation call), so it looks like this:
    [big cars]
    - {big red car1}
    - {big green car2}
    [small cars]
    - {small red car1}
    - {small blue car1}
    [red cars]
    - {big red car1}
    - {small red car1}
    [green cars]
    - {big green car2
    [blue cars]
    - {small red car1}

    I can do this with Ditto for example, but when I call a detail page (e.f. {small red car1}), that page opens with the url: [cars]->{small red car1}, instead of [blue cars]->{small red car1}, that means that all the navigation controls from e.f. Wayfinder (actual link etc.) fail and the user is forced out of the page structure.
    (I tried wird rewrite-rule with same result)

    I do not know if I make the case clear, but if anyone has an idea how to deal with this, I am more than happy to read about it wink

    Thanks a lot!
    Regards, QT

      MODx has the concept of references called "Weblinks". Use them to add a second menu entry pointing to the same content as the first. In the weblink field simply add the document ID of the document you want to point to.
