Beginning to crack up spending hours on end hacking my code and my css to fix IE6 bugs.....i know i know....http://www.ie6nomore.com/

For some reason my form will not work in IE 6 (people still use it):
    http://www.happythreads.ie/view-cart/customer-registration.html

The page validates as xhtml strict, not that this matters to IE 6!
I have followed the instructions on this site (which was lots of fun): http://reference.sitepoint.com/css/haslayout in relation to the haslayout property, adding "zoom:1;" to every element and testing the form, but still I can’t get focus on the form fields!!!

Anyone come across this before and have a simple fix/hack??
    Thanks!
    J

Have a sneaky suspicion it’s the display: inline-block on your inputs.

        Don’t see that in firebug?
I removed display:inline; from a few elements that did not seem to need it...but alas the problem still remains.

In fact, if I strip the css off:
        http://www.happythreads.ie/index.php?id=4113

Still have a problem. Im using multiple IE’s and have heard there are issues with that, but another user on an old PC is having the same problem. Is IE 6 simply broke now?

I’m not sure about your specific problem, but when you have multiple IEs installed on a machine, the versions often identify themselves incorrectly. IE6 may be telling the site that it is IE7 or IE8 so it doesn’t get the IE6-specific CSS.
