    Sorry for the delayed response

    I tested GetFile locally and am getting the file name appear, with extension, but still this only links to a page/resource, which doesn’t exist, not getting the file to download.

    Am using php5, locally and on server.

    Could this possibly be due to the fact that I’m using Evolution?

    @BobRay - thanks for your help on this, I’m gonna keep testing it and will feed back here as and when it is sorted.
    @manu - I have opted for using a ’File’ type TV and PHx to remove any empty values, which works fine. I had considered this option earlier in the thread.

    Thanks a million

      The code is generic PHP and should work fine in Evolution.

      Be sure this line is correct for your structure and that MODX_BASE_PATH is actually set (try just returning $dir surrounded by delimiters to see what it is):

      $dir = MODX_BASE_PATH . 'assets/files/' . $docName . '.*';
      return 'XXX' . $dir . 'XXX';
