Hallo Goldsky,
Is this something I must aware of?
definitely not.
It happens to all snippets/plugins.
That means that this messages will appear if you select snippets or plugins for categorization?
I can’t reproduce it, whatever the level of error_reporting is, no notice appear.
If you chose an elementgroup, the requested data is a POST array looks like this
Array (
[module_categories_manager] => Array (
[ajax] => 1
[task] => categorize_load_elements
[elements] => snippets
)
)
But this is covered by the protect function.
To reproduce the message from where it comes i put this to the protect.inc.php
$a = array('5','4','3');
$v = explode(';', $a); $a [should be|expect as] a string but is an array.
if error_reporting on E_NOTICE the notice-message you see on your screen is appear.
But the error_reporting is set by default(manager/index.php 69) to "error_reporting(E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE)". This exclude the notice messages.
But the error_reporting setting is behind the include of the protect.inc.php(index.php 59).
That results in two questions:
1. Why the notice appear?
speculative answer : The error_reporting is set to E_NOTICE in your php.ini
2. What cause it?
speculative answer: Something is going wrong whithin the protect.inc.php
On what system you run this installation? register_globals on/off?
A really bad fix would be to move the line 69(manager/index.php) "error_reporting(E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE);" before the line "require_once(’./includes/protect.inc.php’);".
But this is not really how to solve such issues.
Another question: you installed the tvs_on_template plugin. Is it running? Yesterday i got feedback that nothing happens after correct install.
hasta luego, Stefan
