[Solved]Best way to move site to another domain?

I built my website on a temporary domain and I want to move it to the main domain.. what would be the best way to move it?

2 link tips from me

Update the dns? No sense moving files.

i’m no pro, but i did this with our site. I Moved all files to the new server, backed up the DB and then restored it to the new server, then logged into the manager and under TOOLS, CONFIG, FILE MANAGER and changed the path and everything worked perfect!

I just moved the files and updates the site and everything and it works fine if the PHX plugin is disabled.. but when its enabled I get this error on all pages:

PHP error debug
Error: include_once(/home2/site/public_html/assets/plugins/phx/phx.parser.class.inc.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
Error type/ Nr.: Warning - 2
File: /home/site/public_html/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(746) : eval()’d code
Line: 10

Does any1 know what could cause this? maybe a setting I’m forgetting that deals with PHX?

Hi BnH,

maybe check those two threads:

and/or in your plugin-code:
