1. I create a page, and within the content, I decide to link to the homepage using the URL chooser.
2. Once I connect it and test it, it goes to http://www.example.com/index instead of just http://www.example.com/
3. This creates canonical issues for some search engines, and dilutes linking power.
Is there a way around this without manually coding links, or without using 301 redirect?
