I recently decided to upgrade to 1.0 (loving ModX over what I’ve tried in the past: Joomla & Drupal -- okay -- sucking up done) ...
but, unfortunately, as soon as I try to head to my site, I receive the following error on the very first page:
    .
I’m still relatively new to ModX but do .NET development at work. Typically, I will troll forums or whatever I need to before submitting an issue/request, but I really don’t have a lot of time these days to delve into an issue for a personal site. If anyone could point me in the right direction (or have experienced this issue themselves) I’d be grateful.
I’ve read some postings about ’clearing cache’ -- doesn’t solve my issue -- and ’templates’ not being installed on a new install -- but this wasn’t a fresh install and I seem to have all the templates.

For now, I’m simply going to rollback, but I would love to upgrade to the latest version smiley

Oh -- and I’m not using too many additions. I did include ObfuscateEmail (Version: 0.9.1) plugin and attempted and SMF plugin (although that - at the time - was just to see if I could do it) .. I’ve since removed that although I’m not positive if completely.
Also using SWFObject (1.0.4) for flash videos and MaxiGallery (0.5.2) for images.
I’m also using a slightly modified template of ModXHost -- just with Comments Chunk included.

oh -- the ’preview’ of that image seems kinda blurred, I’ve also included it attached just in case.

    Thanks!
    Michael

It’s an error with AjaxSearch. Did you select all of the components to be upgraded when you ran the upgrade script? It appears that the AjaxSearch component in the database and the one on the file system are not the same version.

There was no option to upgrade seperate components:

this immediately takes you to a processing page:

Could I simply update the AjaxSearch by downloading ModX 1.0.0 and then FTP the file(s)?

        Thanks!

I’m afraid this is something SimpleScripts will need to address; I have no idea how that works.

            Okay.
Thank you very much for the input.
I’ve had to wait for them to ’fix’ an installation before.
Not that I’m complaining -- both SimpleScripts and ModX have made posting a little personal site very quite and easy. And, when I’m feeling the bug to tweak, ModX certainly offers me PLENTY of options to play around! smiley

            Thanks again!
