Hi Folks,
This should be really simple but it’s got me stuck. When I create a new page in my site for some reason it comes up with ’Rich text’ unchecked in the Page Settings. This means I have to manually check it to show TinyMCE, which is a bit annoying.
Any ideas how to sort this?
cheers,
Danny
Tools -> configuration -> user interface -> activate rich text editor.
Could also be set on a per user basis.

Thanks. Still a bit stuck though.... Configuration - Interface and Features - Enable Editor is set to ’Yes’ and Configuration - Interface and Features - Editor to use is set to TinyMCE. That doesn’t seem to sort the issue as I have still have to check Rich Text in the Page Settings when I create a new page. I’m using Evo 1.0 btw
Hmm... Have you choosen a standard template on the first tab of the configuration?
Also make sure that you don’t have other per user settings...

If you mean Configuration - Site - Default Template, yeah it’s just standard HTML. Very strange....
I do have one XML template used by one page which has Rich Text unchecked although this isn’t my default template. I wonder if since I’ve done this once it affects the default Page Settings for new pages?
Sorry, this exceeds my knowing.
Anyone else?

OK, I think ManagerManager is the problem. When I disable this and create a new page ’Rich Text’ is checked by default but when ManagerManager is enabled Rich Text is unchecked. Will try upgrading ManagerManager then report back.
Ah, don’t have ManagerManager installed...

Upgraded to ManagerManager 0.3.4 and it sorted it. Thanks for your help.
Glad you got it solved.
