    I have a post for the date Ditto displays but now I have to modify how the user defined date of a TV is being displayed.. I have the TV set to date so its showing

    * 09-06-2009 6:03:00
    and I’m trying to get it to show mm.dd.yy.. if I format this date, and ditto pulls the information from this page to be displayed on the homepage does it need to be formatted again for ditto?

    I tried this
    [*eventDate:date=`%m.%d.%y`*]

    but it doesnt display anything.. undecided

      For using PHx date make sure you’ve set the TV to unix timestamp (unixtime).
      See: http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/PHx#date.28.3D.60dateformat.60.29
      Also PHx must be installed (it don’t comes with MODx).

          Simply set the object of the TV to "unixtime".

              It’s an option in the dropdown at the bottom of the TV settings.
