    Hi everybody,

I am searching for a possibility to give some users the right to edit single pages "in-site" by QuickEdit, but these users should not be allowed to enter the manager itself. I tried to dissallow manager, but when I click on QuickEdit, I just get an error page sending me back to my startpage.

It would be really usefull if someone could tell me how I could solve this issue.

    Thank you for you help.

You could just do a plugin that redirects from manager login page to the site for certain users / usergroups.

I think there is some plugin for this in the forums, try if you can find something with search.

Each user’s User tab (Security > Manager users > User tab) has a Manager Interface Access option (Yes/No). This has to be done individually as it’s not a group-assignable role, though a plugin could use the same logic to address such functionality:

Select this option to enable or disable access to the manager interface. NOTE: If this option is set to no then the user will be redirected to the Manager Login Startup or Site Start web page.

Thank you for your answers, but I think you missunderstood my problem. I already set Manager Interface Access option to NO, but because of this the user is not allowed to edit his startpage by QuickEdit either.

So what I would like to do is editing a page without mangaer access ...
