We know MODx from a few months ago. We are thrilled with its features and benefits. The freedom that gives us in development, test and implement any classes or scripts, is the biggest advantage for us.

Now, is it possible to authenticate MODx users through LDAP or Active Directory?
We’re developing a corporate intranet project where the infrastructure environment is based almost entirely on Windows Servers. Only a small group of users will have administrative privileges on MODx, however, would like to authenticate access to the MODx manager using their login, password and user name from LDAP/Active Directory data base.

Is it possible? There is any kind of PHP class do you recommend for this?

    Hi from Venezuela...

You might want to start here for an at least partially working LDAP auth plugin: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,38967.0.html
