    Hey,

Just wondering if you can effect the order in which template variables are spit out to keep them grouped together?
Looking at ManagerManager, don’t see the above in the documentation.

    Any ideas?

      Hi,

All TVs have a sort order field just below the widget properties.

I am not sure if you can batch process all your TVs though. I looked at Doc Manager but didn’t see that feature.

      cheers/k

I recently noticed if you edit a template in Evo 1.0, the Assigned Template Variables tab has an option to edit the order of TVs using drag & drop, like Doc Manager’s menu order changing. I just tried it, and it (largely) seems to work. I changed the order of TVs shared by two different templates, and my order was used when I edited documents resources based on them. laugh

I say largely because I also had a couple of MySQL errors while experimenting. sad

Nice one! Don’t think I’d seen that before. It worked for me, no MySQL errors here. I haven’t tried, but do you know if the order is template specific or it affects all templates using those TVs?

            cheers/k

Please feel free to post a bug report in Jira if you think the MySQL errors are a bug in MODx.

If you do this via the Assigned Template Variables tab, then the order is template-specific.
