How to create a document resource in MODx Revolution, after install shows 404?

I’ve installed MODx Revolution and I get a 404 "Page not Found" error in the front end. Why is this happening?
Unlike MODx Evolution, Revolution is installed with no content. You need to create a document resource and make it the home page.


Right, any tips on how to do this? Thanks.

Have you used MODx before? I think you need to go through a getting started guide. If you are just testing Revolution then have a look at this:

If you are, however, testing MODx for a project, then I suggest you install MODx Evolution. MODx Revolution is still in Beta.

To answer your question....click on create resource button. It is the 3rd button from the left under Web Resources

I am getting 404 on all pages, I can’t get into the management part of Revolution.

Righto I will install Evolution instead.
