[SOLVED] Error page behavior (path problem)...

Hi there,

error page redirection works fine in most cases.
For example typing in http://www.rebelfilms.com.au/randomkajsfh will redirect the user to document 1, as needed.

the problem arises when there is a forward slash "/" at the end of the address. This is happening a fair bit with old links from older sites.

So for example, typing in http://www.rebelfilms.com.au/randomkajsfh/ (note the slash at the end) will load up document 1, but all the relative paths seem to be broken, so no css or javascript or images load up.

What’s the solution?

the solution is by adding the following to <HEAD> tag of your HTML.

<base href="[(site_url)]"></base>

OK, just noticed that this method breaks certain jQuery plugins.

For example I have a jQuery accordion plugin in use on the page.
When adding <base href="[(site_url)]"></base> to the head of the document, when i click the accordion links, the link sends me to http://www.homepage.com/# instead of staying on the same page and opening ther accordion.

Pretty simple stuff, I’m sure, is there a quick fix for this?
