File manager permissions - cant delete files

Hi all.

When any manager user on my modx site uploads a file to the files folder using the modx file manager. The file permissions are set so that the file cannot be deleted from the manager and must be deleted using ftp.
is there anything I can do to allow users to delete files from the file manager?

Is this in the MODx Manage Files screen or the RTE Resource Browser? Anyhow, have you tried changing the default permissions settings - these settings can be found in the Site Configuration (defaults are 0755 for files and 0644 for folders)

I’m not sure why they wouldn’t be able to be deleted from the Manage Files page as files uploaded from there should be owned by the PHP user and therefore PHP should have the ability to delete them. Very strange!
