Showing thumbnails in TinyMCE

Hello,

When I’m inserting the picture in TinyMCE, it is showing as a big image, however the .thumb_ is created on ftp. I need to show thumbnail of image (with link to big image) on my pages, how to do it automaticly with TinyMCE?

Hi there,

You could use 2 image template variables?

[*thumb_image*]
[*big_image*]

Add these to your template as follows
<a href="[*big_image*]" title="my title" target="_blank"><img src="[*thumb_image*]" alt="my alt" /></a>

This will link the smaller thumb to the bigger image.

Your user would then need to select the thumb and the big image in the document to set the TV’s.

I can’t see the thumbnails in the file manager, so how can use that generated thumbnail? I’m newbie in programming, i know where to set thos template variables, but i don’t know what to set (i mean input option values and so on) for each.

By the way isin’t where is automatic mode for all that? I mean without choosing thumbnail and big image. Let’s say like in wordpress.

O I see. Thats a good question, the thumbs don’t show up in TinyMCW because of the filename perhaps.
