How should I use [!FirstRedirect!] snippect in Evolution

I’ve looked in the Wiki and generally within the forum without much luck. I need to redirect a folder to it parent as its not a page of interest for visiting users.

The FirstChildRedirect snippet should be included in a MODx installation. When used as a document’s content it will redirect to the first child of that document.

I’ve uploaded [!FirstChildRedirect &docid=`2`!] into my resource content with a blank template. Is this correct? as it fails to work.

You need to have a ? immediately after the snippet name.

if i just want to redirect to the child of a certain doc i use [[FirstChildRedirect]] ( or [!FirstChildRedirect!]) either in the template or content field. if i want to redirect to any other document, or parent doc i recommend the phiRedirect-Snippet: http://modxcms.com/extras/package/338

Thx Shark. This is even more versatile! I remember seeing this sometime back but couldn’t remember its name. I think I need a list or database of MODx addons.
