[solved] Output image width and height from TV

Hi,

Having an image TV using or not the Image widget is there a way to generate the html with the height and width as attributes?

I guess the thought is to use the style field and use css: width:100px;height:100px;
You could use extra TV’s in the template.

If you had the width and height in the file/path PHP could do it...

But then hacking the tmplvars.format.inc.php maybe would be both faster and more simple...

I’m using this with ditto.

Maybe I can use phx to create a custom function that takes the img path and reads the w and h.

BTW: I need the height and width because I have a carrousel that needs to vertical align the image.

looks interesting but I would prefer to detect the width and height automatically not using TVs
I’m gonna try to build some sort of snippet to do this but am afraid it won’t work with ditto... unless I’m building an extender.

I do not believe how easy it was.

The simples solution is using phx

The ditto tpl looks like


And the php custom modifier is:

1. create a snippet called phx:width
2. paste this code



3. Do the same for height and change the return value.
