webusers and groups

Evening all

I’m trying to create a web user and add them to a web group but can’t seem to work it out ( done it before but it’s just not working now )

I’m using 1.0.0-RC1 and I create the web group no problem, however when I create the web user there are no groups showing to add them to, am I missing something here and being really blond ??

Any pointers would be great.

Hi Paul,

you need to create a document group under "Web access permissions" as well, then under "User/Document group links" connect these two...now you can assign your documents to that group

This is what I have done,

Created a web user group, created a document group, linked the 2 under User/Document group links ( they now show as linked ).

Now if I go into a document there is no option to add it to any groups ( normally at the very bottom of the page ) and if I go into my webusers and edit a user to add them to a group there is no groups to select

As I’ve said I have done this before on other sites but for some reason no options are showing to add anything on this one

Right sorted it, I hadn’t activated the "access permissions" under the configuration.

Just knew it was me having a blond day.
