Just got a copy of YShout and followed the instruction carefully but cannot get it working. Nothing actually appears on the page as if its not reading the snippet call?
Any ideas?

The most common cause of that is misspelling the name of the snippet in the tag (it’s case-sensitive). I think it’s Yshout, not YShout. The name in the tag has to match the name you used when you created the snippet.
Another possiblity is the the Rich Text editor is mangling the snippet call. Turn of the RTE and see what the tag looks like.
