Can't install on my Mac

    Hi,

    I’m trying to install modx on my mac and seem to be doing something ridiculous but I can’t see it...
    I’ve installed MAMP successfully - it accesses my localhost8888. I’ve done all the preliminary setup. But when I try to open http://localhost8888/learningMODx I get the message: Foxfire can’t find server at www.localhost8888.com
    Since it’s a local host presumably Foxfire shouldn’t be looking for www.localhost8888.com.
    Anybody know what I am doing wrong?

      Try => www.localhost:8888/learningMODx/

        http://localhost:8888/learningMODx -
