TinyMCE does in fact use the mcpuck resource browser (and always has) which was originally developed for FCKEditor, but also works as a stand-alone browser, or can be incorporated into other rich text editors such as TinyMCE. That is why the resource browser window shows that title.
The uploading problem is from another cause. What do you mean by "it doesn’t work"? Can you view the images already there? Does it generate an error message?
When the uploader opens there are no images in the view (although there are heaps actually there), I try and upload and get - Error, "Failed to upload file, internal error..."
Try what’s mentioned here:

Check chmod, folder permissions...
Yes, I have been there, nothing worked. Folder is set to 777
Have you checked that the settings in "File base path" and the "File Browser URL" under Tools -> Configuration -> Interface & Features are correct? On one of the websites i’ve upgraded to Evo, these settings were wrong after upgrade.
If you still can’t see the images in the folders, then try to delete the files starting with ".thumb_" in the folders. (Please, make a backup before you’re deleting something...)!

Yep, I’ve checked those, even tried a few changes but still no joy.
Just checked one of my servers:
In "File base path" I have:
/home/www/domain.tld/assets/
And in "File Browser URL" I have:
to have it work...
