I don’t know what happened, but my entire site just went down. I can still log into the manager but I get errors scattered around.

    examples:
Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /hermes/web02/b835/pow.thesoundsinmyhead/htdocs/manager/actions/welcome.static.php on line 64

Warning: mysql_query() [function.mysql-query]: Unable to save result set in /hermes/web02/b835/pow.thesoundsinmyhead/htdocs/manager/frames/nodes.php on line 55

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /hermes/web02/b835/pow.thesoundsinmyhead/htdocs/manager/frames/nodes.php on line 56

when you go to my site you’re met with an error that says:
    « MODx Parse Error »

MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
    « PHP Parse Error »

    PHP error debug
Error: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()
    Error type/ Nr.: Warning - 2
    File: /hermes/web02/b835/pow.thesoundsinmyhead/htdocs/assets/snippets/ditto/classes/ditto.class.inc.php

    Parser timing
    MySQL: 0.0075 s (1 Requests)
    PHP: 0.0903 s
    Total: 0.0978 s

Anyone have any idea what’s going on? I haven’t changed anything on the site for weeks and it worked fine 20 minutes ago. the site is www.thesoundsinmyhead.com hosted by powweb.com.

The errors seem to be MySQL related so at a guess your host has changed/upgraded/overloaded MySQL

any tips on how one might go about repairing ones mysql database?

when i log into my cpanel and go to "manage mysql" i have some sort of new "beta" manager thing the host has made, and then the typical phpMyAdmin (version 2.8.0.1) it says the version of MySQL is "5.0.45-log". what should i do from there?

          thanks!

In phpMyAdmin you can use the "operations" tab to repair tables.
