    Hi,

I have a modx site and a wordpress site...thay are both set up to look like one seamless site. On the modx site i have a news section and the wordpress part of teh site is set up more as a personal blog. However i wnat both the blog and news parts of the site to be in one reader. I would normally set up my rss subscribe button something like this:
    <div id="rss"><a href="http://www.MyWebsite.com/index.php?id=12&z=manprev" title="subscribe to newsfeed">Subscribe</a></div>

..and the ditto call on a text/xml page like this:
    [[Ditto? &amp;parents=`7` &amp;format=`rss` &amp;summarize=`20` &amp;total=`20` &tpl=`rss_item`]]

Can i reference a page outside of the Modx document tree?
or would i have to set up two subscribe buttons?

    Thanks for any help

    J

Crikey that was easier than i thought...all i had to do was add "http://MyWebsite.com/blog/?feed=rss" to the subscribe button!!!
