So I’ve got a client that needs a site designed so that everytime there’s an outbound link taking the visitor outside of the site, the visitor will be redirected to an "in-between" page so that they’re being advised that they’re leaving the site. So something like this:

"Text ... blah, blah blah ... go to http://www.cnn.com ... text, blah, blah."

When the visitor clicks "http://www.cnn.com" above, the visitor will be taken to a page like so:

"You are now leaving this site. If you want to continue, please click the link to continue:

    http://www.cnn.com

    Goodbye!"

So basically I need 2 things:

    1. The ability to detect all external links on any given page and whenever those links are clicked, the visitor goes to a page with:
    2. The info telling the visitor they’re leaving the site with the link passed to this page so they can click it again to leave.

The challenge is that I’ll be dealing with clients who will be managing the site that are not that overly tech savvy and they wouldn’t know how to put to add an attribute to a link to pass that over to the disclaimer page while typing content into the Document Content area.

Anyone had any experience with this?

    Thanks!
