Announcment Feed

Hi all, currently developing a site for use wid ModX, I have a box on my front page that is called Annoucnments, I want this to display the title of the latest DOcuments posted under the announcments cagatory, and of course for them to b linked to that certain document. Sure this is simple just not sure how to do it and or if modx has a plugin or built in feature Like Drupal.

Thanks mate spent the last few hours going over Ditto Snipet however not having much luck. I want to display the Title of the Latest Announcements, can anyone help me at all? I do also want to display it like this:

Title 1
Title 2
Title 3

This should be a pretty straightforward Ditto call, as covered in the Wiki page for Ditto. &parents should point to the folder containing your announcement documents, and the template chunk will include [+pagetitle+] if your titles are in the title field ([+title+] will also work, but will be the same thing).

Sorry really new to Modx so excuse my nub queries. However the announcments will be created as Resources (not sure if this is differnt from a document) so I’m not sure how to point the ditto call in the direction of the Resources.

Ahha the numbers i get it. Thanks guys! I know another question How can I make it only show the Title (linked to document) any help appreciated
