    Hello,
I’m new to ModX and having some difficulty conceptualising how some things work - particularly things like Template Variables, their uses and limitations sad

    For example:
I wish to construct a menu which when clicked displays a panel of information in an adjacent column. The menu has the same format on each page but each page displays different menu items/content. The menu item content is editable by individual users who are able to change their information only - ie have no access to edit any other part of the menu/site.
eg One page is for NBL basketball. Each team shows on a menu item and each week the team manager logs in and inserts content for scores and hi-lights of their match. Another page is for Premier League, another for Rugby. Scroll over or click on the menu item and the content shows.

Is there a snippet already available which can be used to do this?

    Thanks

Do you mean that you want the column to display the content without the whole page reloading?

Thanks Susan. I have reworded my post to try and explain more fully. Yes - display without a full reload would be great.
