    I know how ridiculous this sounds, but I just can’t fix this problem, which started yesterday. I also don’t know to which forum it should be posted. I am sorry, but also a bit frantic.

    The images are in the appropriate /assets/images/ directory, and are called from within the content (and, in one case, the template, after all images disappeared from the content). I can see it in the image insertion interface and it shows correctly within the content editor AND the QuickEdit module, but in the actual HTML of the pages the src disappears! Can anyone think of why this might be happening?

    Basically, in the content of the resource the code is, for example:

    <img src="/images/0330.png" id="Welcome_image" title="Welcome to the web portal of Rita Rogers"  alt="Blue 0330" width="300" height="292" />

    As simple as that. And on the output HTML it is:

    <img src="" id="Welcome_image" title="Welcome to the web portal of Rita Rogers"  alt="Blue 0330" width="300" height="292" />

    This is consistent for every image I have tried to insert into content on its own. This os NOT happening with any image called from CSS or Maxigallery. The url of the site is http://ritarogers.com

    I need to go live tomorrow and cannot for the life of me figure this out. I have disabled TinyMCE in the Configuration of the manager to no avail.

      First of all, your jquery.js does not load

      The path is http://www.ritarogers.com/assets/templates/ritarogers/jquery.js but no jquery there

        Cipa, firstly, thanks a million for your attention and your quick response!

        I actually think that was a legacy .js call that I forgot to remove from my header chunk, but I have replaced it now. I don’t believe I use any jQuery functions anywhere on the site, having opted to just stick with the Mootools that MODx uses -- given the possibility of conflicts.

        In any event, I first tried replacing the .js file in the appropriate place, and then tried deleting the path in the header, both to no avail.

        Any other thoughts?

        Sorry, also I should have mentioned that I am running modx-1.0.0, on MySQL 5.0.32

          can you post the home template
          Specially the part that generates

          <img src="" id="Welcome_image" title="Welcome to the web portal of Rita Rogers" alt="Blue 0330" />

          Maybe you can provide me with an account so I can see for myself how you do it.

            Well, the template is mostly chunk calls

            <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC
              "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
              "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

            <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en">

            <head>
             <meta name="verify-v1" content="cUsTcA9r1cnAB9VJtXLfcAgK3iYqOzPo4IUw6rdOH6k=" />
            {{head}}

            </head>

            <body>

            <div id="wrapper">
              <div id="minHeight"></div>
              <div id="outer">
              <div id="inner">

            <!-- header -->

            [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0`&outerTpl=`rr.OuterTpl`&rowTpl=`rr.RowTpl`&level=`1`&lastClass=``&hideSubMenus=`TRUE`&rowIdPrefix=`nav-site`&hereClass=`current`]]

             <!-- end header -->

             <!-- content -->
            <div id="content">

            [*content*]

            <!-- end content --> </div>

            <!-- end inner--> </div>

            <!-- footer -->

            {{footer}}

            <!-- end footer -->

            <!-- end outer --> </div>

            <!-- end wrapper --> </div>

            {{GoogleAnalytics}}
            </body>
            </html>

            And the head chunk is just
            <!-- META -->
            <title>[(site_name)] | [*pagetitle*]</title>
            <meta http-equiv="Content-type" content="text/html;charset=UTF-8" />
            <base href="[(site_url)]" />
            <meta name="keywords" content="[*keywords*]" />
            <meta description="keywords" content="[*description*]" />

            <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" />

            <!-- CSS -->
            <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="/assets/templates/ritarogers/rr.css" />
            <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="/assets/templates/ritarogers/rrform.css" />
            <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="/assets/templates/ritarogers/rrajaxmenu.css" />
            <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="/assets/templates/ritarogers/rrsearch.css" />

            <!-- Feed -->
            <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="[(site_name)] RSS feed" href="[~75~]" />

            <!-- JS -->
            <script type="text/javascript"  src="/assets/templates/ritarogers/slider.js"></script>

            I would be happy to provide you with an account to check things out (although, it’s my first MODx site, so don’t mind the mess!) Should I pm you with some info?

            Thanks again!

                Your cache looks fine but somehow the img path gets removed when the page is generated.
                Maybe somebody else can help with this

                Cache: <p><img src="/images/0330.png" id="Welcome_image" title="Welcome to the web portal of Rita Rogers" alt="Blue 0330" width="300" height="292" /></p>
                Source: <p><img src="" id="Welcome_image" title="Welcome to the web portal of Rita Rogers" alt="Blue 0330" /></p>

                I recommended a reinstall/upgrade since this might be a core issue.

                Also please post your server details in here

                Sorry that I could not help

                  I have never heard of such a thing in the 5 years of using MODx for dozens of sites. Do images show up OK if you make a plain HTML page with an image link?

                  By the way, an alt attribute should have some information that will be useful to screen readers and such, not just the name of the image!

                    sottwell, thanks for taking notice. If you mean do they work when I simply make a HTML template with images therein, the answer is nope. Igf you mean simply putting a straight HTML page on the domain unconnected to MODx, then the answer is yes.

                    Of course, I may have misunderstood you!

                      sottwell, do you think a reinstall is the best bet?
