how to manage this portfolio overview page?

Hi Guys,

Im building a site but im wanting to have a portfolio overview page smiler to this - http://www.transferstudio.co.uk/ I know how to achieve the look and way it works but its more how to manage it, meaning if I add a new project page, how is it best to have an image then appear on that overview page and the rollover text then it clicks through to the actual project page?

Does that make sense, sorry if it sounds a bit sketchy but im thinking ditto but if someone can tell me otherwise that would be ace!!

Thanks for that, I don’t plan to have the "FILTER WORK BY" although i may want pagination?

But otherwise I kind of understand what you mean, so basically when I make up the actual project pages in the manager, have a TV for a smaller image for the overview page then on the overview template have it so is displays just the small image which links through to the actual project page? Also can i randomize the oder of the images on the overview page?

Sorry if im wrong, im one of these people that needs explaining to but once understood stays in my head!!

Hi Ganesh,

Just one more question that im hoping you can help with

I plan to have 12 pieces of work on display like the example site but will actually have around 20 documents in the manager, so can I pull the first 12 items in the document tree, then radomise them? Its just via the CMS I can order the newest pieces on top, hopefully that makee sense
