upgrade from Evolution RC1 ?

    Hey Guys,

    I just realized that I’m using Evo RC1 on a live site. Will it be possible to upgrade from RC1 to Evo 1.0 once it’s released ?

    If not, should I be upgrading between release candidates? Is that possible?

      Upgrading is as simple as (first backing up everything, of course; it also helps to clear the site cache and log out of the manager) uploading the files and running yourdomain.com/install.

        It’s also possible to upgrade between RCs, just as you would with upgrading from an RC to the GA release. In all honesty though, unless you’re wishing to help out with the testing of RC3 (which I wouldn’t recommend on a live site) then I’d advise you wait for the main Evo 1.0 release which is just around the corner.

          I just upgraded from RC1 to RC3
          No problems so far.
