Newbie here. I’m an ExpressionEngine user getting my feet wet with MODx. I haven’t reached that "Aha!" moment with MODx where everything clicks yet. Still wrapping my head around how documents, templates, chunks, and snippets all intertwine.
I have a single web page with different types of information I’d like to put on it. So far I’ve made a main document for the web page using a main page template. Then I’ve made a separate document for each different type of information that I’d like to put on the page, and each document uses it’s own template. Each of these smaller documents is listed as a subset of the main document page in the site tree. Now how do I "embed" each smaller document into the main document so that all the pieces display together on the same page?
I realize there are probably 50 ways to do this.
Thanks!

You’ll probably wind up using the Ditto snippet.

Thanks! By its name I was thinking that Ditto could only be used for multiple items of the exact same kind, such as blog entries that all use the same set-up (e.g. title/summary/body), or a set of portfolio images that all have the same set-up (e.g. thumbnail/title/description). I’ll go study up on Ditto and let you know how it goes.
