    Hi,

Many months ago, I followed this tutorial to Ajaxify my website :
    http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,6743.0.html

Currently, I have a first level of ajaxification where the summary (i.e. introtext) of a child document is loaded into a div by Ajax when the onmouseover event occurs on a menu item. If a click is done, the full document content is accessed and diplayed the classical way.

This works pretty well if the document is a simple topic.

Now, I’m trying to put as child a document which itself is an ajaxified parent.
    Do you follow me ?

So, we have this case :
Ajaxified Grand-parent ---> Ajaxified Parent ---> Classical Topic Child

What happens is that when, in the grand-parent document, the "onmouseover" event occurs on the menu entry leading to the child Ajaxified document, the full document displays, with the Ajaxified template and not only its summary as it should.
In summary, the wrong model is selected.

I checked the ajaxify.js script (by heliotrope/kudo) and all seems OK:
the template that must be used to display only the summary is correctly set in the url passed to the docClickLoader via the loadInto method.

For this reason I assume that the issue is in the htmlhttprequest.js script.

Is there some known limitation in using the htmlhttprequest / ajaxify tandem ?

    Thanks for your help.

How could I miss it again ?

The classical joke with cached documents and Ajax !

Most of my pages were not cached, but the problematic one was and kept the layout of the last used template !
