Session getting reset

Hi,

The session variable that I set in the current page is getting reset when I redirect (using header function) to another page. Please help me with this issue guys. Thanks

Make sure you are not redirecting from www.domain.tld to domain.tld or vice versa. These will have different sessions.

Hi,

I am redirecting from my home page submits the form to the php file present in assets/files/test.php in the same domain to http://domain.html/index.php?q=14. Should there be a problem with this?

Not as long as your file test.php sets the session_name to the same one MODx is using (you can find it in the config.inc.php file) and starts the session.
