global var

I would like to create some global variables. Currently I’m using Evo RC1.

For example a company has only one phone number and employers have extension. So I created a TV called extension.

What is the best way to have the global phone number accessible from multiple snippets?

Put it in a chunk. Then you can use $modx->getChunk in a snippet, or directly use the chunk in the template or content.

Perfectly understandable. I go to Tel Aviv for shopping maybe twice in a year, because of the 10-hour bus ride involved
