Manual / Catalogus

Hello,

A few months ago I discovered MODx and it looks like something I can use to build a site that would be a sort of a Manual / Catalogus with text and images for products.
I’ve looked at the Extra’s and there are a lot

My question is, is there an add-on that will let me create a Manual / Catalogus?

It would look something like this:

-> Image
-> Text explaining the product.

Thanks!

Check out Ditto.

There’s different approaches to this. Depending on how many products you have, you could let each product be a modx document (resource) then use an image TV for the image product. Ditto would allow you to list the products which when clicked would disclose full details about the product (i.e., the user will be taken to that product’s page). If you need payment integration then you would need to consider using other addons too.

Hope this helps.

(if you installed modx 0.9.6/evolution with the pre-packaged snippets then you already have Ditto)
