I’m running my site (www.compeek.net) off the 2.0 branch of Subversion. When I go and update it with the command ’svn update’, do I need to go through the MODx setup again? Do I need to execute ’php transport.core.php’ again like explained here? http://svn.modxcms.com/docs/display/revolution/Development+and+Testing+Notes

    Thanks!
I'm learning more about MODx all the time and loving it.

Whether or not you need to rebuild the core transport, reload the default lexicons, and/or run the setup script as an upgrade depends entirely on the nature of the changes being made. We try to indicate if a rebuild and/or upgrade is required in the commit comments, e.g. from revision 5396
      [LEXICON RELOAD REQUIRED]
      - [#MODX-937] Added ’Download Extras’ button to package grid which loads modxcms.com provider
      or revision 5310
      [REBUILD/UPGRADE REQUIRED]
      - Fixed issues with user emails being sent in plaintext with no linebreaks; now HTML-based for the time being

Just because I haven’t noticed them, where do those show up? Do they show up in my terminal when I’m doing the update?

Thanks, again. You’re always there to help when I need it. laugh

They show up in the log. I’m not sure what you’re using for SVN access but in TortoiseSVN, you can select "View Log" from the TSVN menu. You can also get there from "Check for Modifications."

I’m using svn straight from the command line. It’s on my Ubuntu Server installation, so I don’t have a GUI. I’ll see what I can figure out. Thanks for the info.

Edit: ’svn log’ gets me what I need.
