In the MODx Manager, under "Resources – Manage Files", you cannot "drill down" to open the file folders. When you click on a file folder, nothing happens. Is there a fix for this?

Windows server or Linux? What version of PHP? Some kind of security engine like suhosin running? Sounds like a security/permissions issue.
Linux Server, PHP5, no suhosin engine running

Check the individual manager user’s settings, there may be something there. It still sounds like a permissions issue; these folders don’t have "world-execute" permissions maybe. It’s hard to say, really, without being actually able to see what’s happening (at least for me; I work better hands-on than theoretically).
