What I’m trying to do is build a select menu with options populated from the database. Then on the front-end users can select an option and be taken to that page. For example, I have a container called "Cities" and it has all of the available cities as documents. I created a tv called citiesList and used an @SELECT binding to populate the dropdown by using the Generic HTML widget. But, it only populates the first option. Here’s what I’ve got:
TV: citiesList
Input Option: @SELECT menutitle FROM mysite_site_content WHERE parent = 20
Widget: HTML Generic Tag (Tag Name - option)
I’ve made some progress, but still cannot figure out why it’s only listing first document and not all of them. Also, I’m not sure of the best way to get the page to redirect when they choose the city that they want. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
