I’ve been an early adapter of MODx since 2005 and have developed several sites up to 9.6.2b. There’s a project request now that’s a bit intimidating (right word?) for me in relation to MODx. But I don’t want to send the client to the Typo3 guys
One major thing they want (besides a 7 language site with each 500 pages) is a separation of staging workspace and live workspace as in Typo3 4 - "Staging site for testing before taking changes live" - I’m not sure if there is a way to get this done without simply duplicating documents - may be in
Revolution (I didn’t test yet)?
Also there is need of a translation workflow, e.g. CMS submits English content to a queue to then be translated by a user resp. 4 users to 4 languages.
Would be glad if anyone here can encourage me to propose MODx for this project or even has similar projects realized with MODx.
