add new document(web page) to the menu

I added a new document and I thought it would automaticall show up in the menu - but it’s not showing. I did check ’show in menu’. The page shows in the document tree but it’s shaded. What am I missing?

The document needs to be published.

I get the ’dope slap’ for today.

If you prefer, you can change the setting in the main site Configuration to have documents published on creation by default.

Ye, I’ve thought about that but I have never regarded that as a good option. Wouldn’t want the world to see anything I wasn’t sure was ready for showing. Thx anyway.
