Hi everyone. I’m afraid I’ve fallen at the first hurdle! I’m trying to get MODx installed on my server and got the server connection sorted no problem. However, for the database information it can’t (or won’t) create a database. The database name and table prefix have already been filled in as "modx" but it just won’t create a database. Am I doing something wrong?

Does your database user have create permissions? If not, you will have to create the database in some other way (from your control panel, or however you can do this).
